Fried Cauliflower Tacos with Gusto's Pataka Hot Sauce

Ingredients:

For Fried Cauliflower:

  • 1 small cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 1/2 cup cornflour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • 2 tablespoons Gusto's Pataka Hot Sauce

For the Glaze:

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons Gusto's Pataka Hot Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey (adjust to taste)

For Pico de Gallo:

  • 2 large tomatoes, diced
  • 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 green jalapeño pepper, finely chopped (remove seeds for less heat)
  • 2 tablespoons Gusto's Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For Tacos:

  • Small tortillas or taco shells

Instructions:

  1. Fry Cauliflower:
  • Toss cauliflower florets in a mixture of cornflour and 2 tablespoons of Gusto's Pataka Hot Sauce.
  • Fry in hot oil until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
  1. Make Glaze:
  • In a pan, melt butter, add minced garlic, Gusto's Pataka Hot Sauce, and honey. Stir to create a glaze.
  1. Glaze Cauliflower:
  • Toss the fried cauliflower in the glaze until evenly coated and shiny.
  1. Assemble Tacos:
  • Warm tortillas.
  • Place glazed cauliflower in each tortilla.
  • Top with Pico de Gallo.
